Thank you to all community members who came out to enjoy camp with us this summer.
Through a generous gift, families have had the opportunity to gather at Camp rediscovering a sense of normalcy, joy, and connection all free of charge. We hope you enjoy some of the photos taken from the summer.
We are taking the unique opportunity of Camp being closed this summer to open our facility to the local community. Knowing that local families won’t be able to travel, we would like to offer you the chance to enjoy the beautiful outdoors close to home. As we are unable to run our regular summer camp program this year we would like to offer the community this service completely FREE of charge!
Our Community Days invite you to Coniston and will involve some limited Camp activities. Some of our Community Days are designated to specific groups of local people, such as essential workers and residents of particular towns, while some are open to all local people! Activities and offerings by trained Coniston staff/lifeguards may include, but not be limited to: swimming, boating, hiking, arts and crafts, guided nature walks, tennis, basketball, etc. Additionally, we encourage you to bring a picnic lunch for your group to enjoy as we do not have any food or drinks available. Bring your own ingredients to make S’mores on a campfire! Take a look at our calendar below to see which days are available to you and your family.
ALL EVENTS WILL FOLLOW SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES.
Registration is limited to allow for social distance, so register early to reserve a spot. You can bring a maximum of 10 people in your group. All participants must be registered ahead of time. One person per group should complete the application, with all group members listed.
Our general Community Days are welcome to all local people. There are also specific Community Days that target essential workers, particular towns, our Afterschool families and some other groups, but all local people are welcome. View our calendar or scroll down to see the list and register for the days that apply to you!
We are also opening up our hiking trails to local hikers on select days this summer. (Scroll down for more info)
Note: Every Community Day is open to anyone. Daily titles highlight certain groups, but all are welcome on any day. Feel free to sign up for multiple days.
