summer camp

Every summer since 1911, children ages 8-15 gather at YMCA Camp Coniston for an experience of pure magic. Campers may attend a maximum of (2) Two-Week Overnight Camp Sessions, AND… You can also add on as many additional weeks of Adventure Camp or Service Trips as your schedule allows!

Over night camp

We offer four 2-week and one 1-week long sessions to over 1,700 children per summer. Campers learn independence, try new activities, gain confidence, and make life-long friends.

Offering youth ages 12-15, the opportunity to have exciting adventures in spectacular locations during trips throughout New England and Canada. These trips focus on climbing, hiking, white water rafting, and sailing.

service trips

For students who have completed 9th or 10th grade to engage in community service experiences in different parts of the country, gaining service hours, and assisting a community that needs it through well-known organizations like Habitat for Humanity and Feeding America.

Facilities

We are a co-ed residential camp located on beautiful Lake Coniston and surrounded by 1200 acres of camp-owned, forested land. During each 2-week camping session, Coniston hosts 400 girls and boys, ages 8-15. The Boys and Girls Camps are on separate sides of Lake Coniston, with shared facilities such as the Dining Hall and Program Lodge and activity areas located between.
