Will and Fran here, reporting live from our respective desks in the Coniston Program Office. As the current Boys and Girls Camp Directors, we feel it is our duty to give the Coniston Community a sneak peak into the on-the-ground happenings of Camp this summer, and we are so excited to launch Loon’s Eye View! Each summer, our staff does amazing work, our campers accomplish extraordinary things, and our administrators never stop searching for ways to make Coniston better. As this is the first official Coniston newsletter aiming to provide daily snapshots into our day-to-day summer operations, we are ready to take on this role. We know how much time and effort goes into making Camp special. Loon’s Eye View is our way of sharing that with you. Throughout the summer, we will be highlighting on-the-ground Coniston stories—from Cabin Nights and Campfires to our Capital Projects’ impact on Camp. Through sharing testimony from campers, alumni op-eds, and general reporting of Coniston news, we hope for more of the outside world to understand and appreciate just how impressive this organization has become. Coniston is back and better!
