Sturdy day backpack Like a school backpack, it should be comfortable for hiking and be able to carry a water bottle, rain jacket and lunch. This will be used as your carry-on and needs to be able to fit underneath the seat.
Soft Sided Duffel Bag - A soft-sided duffel bag (no wheels) or hiking backpack. Hard suitcases and rolling suitcases are problematic for the way the group travels. This will be your bag for the trip. You must be able to carry all of your belongings through the airport and load them in and out of vehicles yourself.
Sleeping bag – on smaller side, must fit into checked bag
A sleeping pad that is packable. Inflatable or folding sleeping pads work best (must fit inside your luggage)
2-3 Pants, warmer pants/leggings/sweatpants, polypropylene, fleece, quick dry material
4-5 Shorts, quick dry shorts work very well.
6-8 T-Shirts, At least 3 should be synthetic (not cotton, fast drying). Good for sun protection!
2 Long Sleeve Shirts, One lightweight shirt for sun protection, one fleece or warmer jacket for cold nights
2-3 Sweatshirts/Fleeces
9 underwear
3-4 Sports Bras (if needed)
1 Hat
8-10 pairs of socks (6 should be for hiking)
1 pair of pajamas
1 bathing suit
1 pair of comfortable hiking boots or sturdy sneakers with firm sole and support (please wear & break in before summer starts!)

Note: Please avoid cotton clothes when possible! Cotton gets wet and takes a long time to dry, and can be very heavy. Polypropylene, fleece, and wool dry quickly and are a lot more comfortable.
1 pair of comfortable waterproof hiking boots with firm sole and support, at least ankle height (sneakers are not okay)
1 pair of comfortable shoes to wear after hiking (sandals/crocs)
3 pairs of wool socks
1 Swimsuits (appropriate swim wear for activities such as diving)
2 pair of nylon or polyester athletic shorts
1 pair of rain pants or wind pants (no jeans)
